DESCRIPTION

The design and execution by AR Concepts became the new standard for VTA, with the bungalow at I-880 being used as an example for all subsequent projects on VTA including the new Vasona Line.

AR Concepts have been awarded three design, supply, and install projects on the Santa Clara Valley Light Rail Transit system:

TASKS

In 1998 the extension of the Tasman Line to I-880 Station which involved a new end of line terminal with a double crossover and related signalling.
In 2000 the addition of an in-line station at Moffet Park which required interface to the existing signal system, modifications to crossing starts, relocation of some signals and addition of pedestrian warning lights at the station.
In 2002 another extension of the Tasman Line from I-880 to the new end of line terminal station at Alum Rock.
